% 13.02.2017 The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the election to the post of President of the Delhi Medical Association has already taken place yesterday, i.e., on 12.02.2017. He further submits that the election can be challenged under the constitution of the Delhi Medical Association as well as the Indian Medical Association and that the appellant would be taking steps under those provisions for challenging the election itself.

He, therefore, submits that this appeal be disposed of as having become infructuous with the direction that the observations made by the learned Single Judge would not come in the way of the appellant in the challenge to be made post election. The present appeal is disposed of as having become infructuous and the observations that have been made by the learned Single Judge are obviously, prima facie, in nature and would not come in the way of the appellant in case he challenges the election in accordance with the provisions of law.
