CM APPL. 66911/2024-By appellant for early hearing in view of settlement arrived between the parties 1.

This is an application for early hearing preferred by the appellant. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement and, therefore, pray that the matter be taken up today itself and disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 29.10.2024.

Learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to this request. 3.

In the light of this stand taken by the parties, the application is, for the reasons stated therein, allowed and the appeal is taken up for consideration. MAT.APP.(F.C.) 274/2024 4.

Courts Act, 1984, assailing the judgment and decree dated 20.07.2024 passed by the learned Family Court, South East, Saket Courts, New Delhi in HMA No.59/2019.

Learned counsel for the parties jointly submit that since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement and a copy of the Settlement Agreement dated 29.10.2024 has already been placed on record, the appeal may be disposed of by setting aside the impugned judgment and directing that the parties will remain bound by the terms of the settlement. 6.

Having perused the settlement agreement, the appeal is, as prayed for, disposed of by setting aside the impugned judgment and directing that the parties will remain bound by the terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 29.10.2024.

The next date already fixed, i.e. 24.02.2025, stands cancelled.
