This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 3 months for concluding the Arbitral Proceedings and passing the final Award.

Learned counsel for the parties jointly state that the parties have already arrived at a settlement.

Under the terms of the settlement, the claims of the petitioner have to be formally withdrawn.

Mr. Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that, on instructions, he is ready and willing to make a statement before the Court that the claims of the petitioner stand formally withdrawn in view of the settlement.
