This is a petition filed under Section 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a period of six (6) months.

It is stated that the parties have already concluded their arguments and only the pronouncement of the award is pending. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Mehrotra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

The petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of six (6) months from today. 7.

The period from 20.03.2025 till today stands regularised. 8.

The petition is disposed of.
