ORDER

19.07.2016 Present FIR No. 72/2016 under Sections 186/353/332/147/149 IPG was registered on the complaint of Constable Devender Singh. He alleged in the FIR that he was on picket duty at A-Block, Surajmal Vihar, Delhi. At By:AMULYA

about 6:30 two boys were seen coming on a Honda Activa Scooty bearing registration no. DL14SA 6077, without helmets. On seeing the police they tried to take a U-tum in hurry as a result thereof the scooty slipped and the boys sustained injuries. Police officials caught them. The boys telephoned their parents, who along with 15-20 persons arrived there and gave beatings to Constable Nitin, Constable Devender and Head Constable Dinesh resulting injuries on their person.

Petitioners are parents of Harshit, who was driving the scooty. Vide order dated 19^*" February, 2016 Ms. Geetu Gujral was protected fi-om arrest. Similarly, vide order dated 23'^'^ February, 2016 Gunjan Gujral was protected from arrest. These interim orders are still continuing. Petitioners have participated in the investigation which fact has not been disputed. Learned APP submits that though petitioners participated in the investigation but have not disclosed the names of other persons. At the same time, it has been admitted that investigations qua the petitioners are complete and charge-sheet is likely to be filed. Keeping in mind the totality of circumstances, it is ordered that in case of arrest, petitioners be released on anticipatory bail subject to their furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- each with one surety in

the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigation Officer/SHO concerned.

Both the applications are disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A%J.
