The present petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 243/2023 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sector-23, Dwarka, New Delhi. 2.

The petitioner is stated to be the husband of complaint and the offences invoked are against him are under Sections 498A/406/377/34 IPC. 3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that while issuing notice vide order dated 22.08.2024, the petitioner was granted interim protection subject to his joining investigation. He further submits that the petitioner has joined investigation as and when directed by the IO concerned.

Learned APP appearing for the State, on instructions from the IO, confirm that the petitioner has joined investigation. He further submits that the custody of the petitioner is not required. 5.

In view of the above and regard being had to the fact the FIR is related to matrimonial discord, it is directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/IO concerned, further subject to the following conditions: i.Petitioner shall join investigation as and when directed by the I.O concerned.

ii.Petitioner shall not influence the witnesses in any manner or try to contact the complainant or tamper with the evidence. 6.

It is clarified that the observations made herein above are only for the limited purpose of deciding the present bail application and the same shall not be construed as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case. 7.

The petition stands disposed of.
