The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.294/2018 registered under Sections 323/342/354/34 IPC at P.S. Ambedkar Nagar, New Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioner alongwith one Sodan Kashyap beat and misbehaved with respondent No.2. 3.

Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case respondent The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

No.2 is the complainant/victim and apart from the petitioner, there is another accused namely Sodan Kashyap.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the accused namely Sodan Kashyap/husband of the petitioner has expired. Learned APP for the State, on instructions from the I.O., states that the said factum has been verified. A copy of his death certificate has also been placed on record. 5.

Learned counsels for the parties submits that the parties have entered into a settlement vide Deed of Compromise dated 02.01.2023 and in terms of the settlement, respondent No.2 is now left with no claim whatsoever against the present petitioner.

The petitioner and respondent No.2, who are present in the Court, have been identified by their respective counsels as well as by the Investigating Officer.

The petitioner has shown remorse for her conduct and she undertakes not to repeat the same in future. Respondent No.2 state that she has entered into the aforesaid Deed of Compromise out of her own free will, volition and without any coercion. She further states that she has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed. 8.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that connected FIR being FIR No.293/2018 registered under Sections 323/354B/451/365/506/34 IPC at P.S. Ambedkar Nagar, New Delhi has also been quashed today vide CRL.M.C. 8440/2023.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
