BAIL APPLN. 3003/2024 1.
This petition has been filed seeking extension of interim bail granted by the Trial Court by order dated 26th June, 2024. Further extension of the said interim bail was dismissed by Trial Court by order dated 09th August, 2024. 2.
This petition arises out of FIR no. 226/2022 registered at PS Laxmi Nagar. 3.
Counsel for petitioner points out that petitioner has also been implicated in another FIR no. 214/2015 PS Shakarpur in which he has sought interim bail on the same grounds of his parents being unwell and his mother needing surgery, and in which he has been granted interim bail by another Court of ASJ on 09th August, 2024 till 20th September, 2024 4.
In these circumstances, and having perused the medical documents of the mother of the petitioner, where it has been stated that the mother of the petitioner The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. is to be admitted in hospital for surgery on 08th August, 2024, and on the statement of counsel for the petitioner that she can only be admitted when the petitioner is available to take care of her, this Court deems it fit to grant extension of interim bail on the same terms of conditions (as stipulated by the Trial Court) for two weeks.

APP for State points out that, as per their status report, brother and the sister of the petitioner are also available to take care. Needless to state petitioner will make arrangements in order that the mother is taken care of by his siblings and further extensions are not sought.

Petition is disposed of accordingly.
