Present petition has been filed by the petitioner (defendant before the learned Trial Court) challenging order dated 14.05.2024 whereby its right to lead defence evidence was closed. They filed a review but even such review application has been dismissed on 05.08.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has, very fairly, informed that the learned Trial Court has already heard the final arguments and reserved the matter for pronouncement of order today itself. He states that, therefore, he does not press his present petition now but prays that in case, the suit is eventually decreed against the petitioner herein, he may be given liberty to re-challenge the orders, which are impugned in the present petition, by filing appropriate petition afresh. 3.
