This petition has been filed seeking quashing of Complaint Case No. 16056/2017 under Sections 420/468/471/120B IPC is pending before the Court of MM on basis of settlement arrived at between the parties dated 27th April, 2024 which is on record of this Court. 2.
Petitioner Nos.1-2 are present in Court and duly identified by the IO. Respondent No.2 appears through VC and states that he has no objection to the quashing of the said FIR.

Considering that it is an inter se dispute between the parties, also relating to the documentation which was executed between the parties, the Court considers it fit to the quashing of the same on the basis of the settlement. Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR/Complaint Case as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the Complaint Case No. 16056/2017 under Sections 420/468/471/120B IPC and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 6.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
