The present petition has been filed impugning order dated 06.07.2024 passed by the learned JMFC-01 (N.I. Act), South-East, Saket whereby the prayer for grant of further time to comply with the Settlement Deed dated 02.06.214 was declined.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that out of the total settlement amount of Rs. 33 Lakhs, a sum of Rs. 22.50 Lakhs has already been paid.

He, on instructions from his client, undertakes to pay the balance amount of Rs.10.50 Lakhs within a period of five months from today. The statement is taken on record.

The said proposal is also accepted by the learned counsel for the respondent. The statement is taken on record. 4.

In view of the aforesaid statement, the present petition alongwith pending application is disposed of.

Insofar as the amount which has been deposited before the learned Trial Court is concerned, a prayer is made by the learned counsel for the respondent to allow the respondent to get the same released. The prayer is not opposed by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. 6.
