The present Writ Petition was instituted in the year 2023. 2.

The Petitioners had prayed for their deployment to the Indian Mission in Afghanistan.

Learned counsel representing the Petitioners seeks an adjournment to obtain instructions as to whether the cause for continuing with the present Writ Petition survives. 4.

Per contra, learned counsel representing the Respondents submits that the Petitioners have already crossed the age of 40 years, which is the maximum age prescribed for deployment of officials to the Indian Mission in Afghanistan.

In view of the aforesaid position, the present Petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioners to seek revival, if the cause for continuation of the Writ Petition survives. The pending application is also disposed of.
