% 26.11.2024 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been settled in the mediation vide settlement deed dated 27.09.2024. Learned counsel submits that the matter has been settled between the parties at Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 07.10.2024. In terms of the settlement Rs. 1,21,000/- has already been paid by the petitioner to the respondent/complainant. Further a sum of Rs. 20,000/- has been paid today by the petitioner to respondent/complainant in the Courtby way of demand draft bearing DD No. 000776 date 27.09.2024 in the name of Mahender Plastics drawn from Bank of India of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only).
Let the copy of the settlement be brought on record. In terms of the settlement, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Petitioner does not want to pursue the present petition any further. Respondent/complainant states that in terms of the settlement dated 27.09.2024 he has settled the matter with the petitioner. As per the settlement dated 27.09.2024, the petitioner is acquitted of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the NI Act concerning cheques bearing Nos. 045066 and 045076.
