This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 6 months to conclude the Arbitral proceedings and to make and publish the Award. 5.

settlement and hence, the Arbitral proceedings were delayed. 6.

Issue notice. Ms. Singh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

It is stated that the respondent No.4 is a proforma party and as of today, the respondent No.4 is not a party before the learned Arbitral Tribunal. However, the application for their impleadment is in pending adjudication. Hence, there is no requirement of the presence of the respondent No.4 for this petition.

Mr. Singhvi, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 9.

I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown for the delay.

10. Hence, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by 6 months to conclude the Arbitral proceedings and make and publish the Arbitral Award.

11. The period from 11.08.2024 till today stands regularised.

12. The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
