This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of an Arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties. 2.

The Arbitral Tribunal was constituted by an order of this Court dated 31.08.2021 in OMP (T) (COMM) 72/2021.

The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended from time to time, lastly by order dated 01.03.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 159/2024 for a period of six months. 4.

I am informed that the matter is at the stage of cross examination of the witnesses of the petitioner-claimant.

Mr. Mahmood Alam, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice, and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended till for a period of six months from today.

The petition, alongwith the pending application, stands disposed of in these terms.
