This petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging a violation of the interim Order dated 21.08.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 8355/2019, titled Rajesh Kumar v. Union of India & Anr.. 2.

By the said interim order, this Court had stayed the Office Order dated 23.07.2019, by which the petitioner had been transferred to the Punjab Circle. This Court had also stayed another Order dated 23.07.2019, by which the petitioner had been transferred to the Kerala Circle.

The petitioner submits that, despite the said interim order continuing to operate till date, the respondents have now transferred the petitioner to the Haryana Circle.

In our view, a fresh transfer order cannot be made the subject matter of the contempt proceedings. 21.08.2019 was confined only to the two Office Orders that have been mentioned hereinabove and did not impose a complete ban on the transfer of the petitioner in the future.

Accordingly, while reserving the liberty to the petitioner to challenge the Transfer Order dated 22.07.2025, if so advised, in accordance with law, we find no merit in the present petition. The same is, therefore, disposed of.
