Mr. Balendu Shekhar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel states that the respondents are agreeable to accept the resignation tendered by the petitioner provided the petitioner reports to one of the units of the respondents so that his absence can be regularised. 2.

If that be so, the petitioner shall report to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Medical, Composite Hospital, SSB, Salonibari, Tejpur, Assam on 23.02.2026 at 11:00AM. On the petitioner reporting to the DIG, the DIG shall take his joining and place a copy of the same on record for further formalities.

As the petitioner has to attend to his ailing son, he is at liberty to apply for leave which shall be considered and granted by the DIG (Medical). 4.
