versus THE VICE CHAIRMAN, DELHI AGRICULTURAL BOARD & ORS ..... Respondents Through:

CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU
O R D E R
% 24.08.2017 1.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued for allotment of Phars (temporary auction areas) to the members of the petitioner association. The petitioner is a registered society and its members are engaged in the business of dealing with Tarbooj and Shardha as commission agents in the New Sabzi Mandi, Azad Pur, Delhi. It is the petitioner's case that its members were promised ten Phars by the Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee, Azadpur, Delhi, however, the same has not been allotted to them as yet. 2.
The learned counsel for the respondent has handed over a document dated 21.08.2015, which he states is the current policy on the basis of which
allotment of auction areas are being made. He further states that the members of the petitioner association would also be allocated an area in conformity with the said policy. It is seen that the policy also has an inbuilt mechanism for hearing objections regarding allotment by a dissatisfied licensee within a period of 30 days of such allotment being made. 3.
In view of the above statement, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition and the same is disposed of. The pending application also stands disposed of.
