The instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of petitioner seeking following prayers: "...(a) Pass an appropriate order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the respondent No.2/NRC to comply with the directions passed by the respondent No. 1/NCTE in its Appeal Order File No. 89156/E-316187/2023 Appeal/13th Meeting, 2023/ APPLNRC202314672 dated 31.10.2023 and to consider the letter and documents submitted by the petitioner/ institution in the interest of justice and in the facts and circumstances of the present case; and /or (b) Pass an appropriate order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the respondents to issue an order of restoration of recognition and permit the petitioner/institution to participate in the counseling The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. and admit students for the year 2024-2025, in the interest of justice and in the facts and circumstances of the present case.." 2.

This Court is constrained to pass this order since the respondent no. 2 i.e. Northern Regional Committee („NRC‟) has failed to decide the order of restoration of recognition of the petitioner though the documents were tendered by the petitioner on 24.11.2023. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the counselling will conclude on 20.09.2024. 3.

In view thereof, the respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the NRC of the petitioner within seven days positively under intimation to the petitioner. 4.

This order has been passed in presence of learned counsel for respondent no. 2 and, therefore, if there is any delay in according the order, the petitioner will be at liberty to approach this Court in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the present petition along with pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of.
