% 19.03.2024 After making some submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the application for bail.

Application is accordingly disposed of as not pressed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. Since the petitioner is in custody for a period of over 4.5 years, learned Trial Court is directed to make endeavour to conclude the proceedings, preferably within a period of four months from the next date of hearing fixed before it, as it is pointed out that only two witnesses are to be examined by prosecution.

A copy of this order be forwarded to learned Trial Court for information and compliance.
