This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of an arbitral tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under multiple work orders issued to the petitioner, in relation to a construction project of the respondent.

I am informed that the matter is at the stage of cross examination of witnesses.

Mr. Praveen Kumar Aggarwal, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended till 27.08.2025.
