This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of three months upto 03.10.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to Consultancy Service Agreement dated 06.06.2017 executed between the parties, Petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act in this Court being ARB.P. 333/2020, seeking appointment of a Sole Arbitrator, which was allowed on 03.03.2022, appointing the Sole Arbitrator. Mandate of the Arbitrator was successively extended and lastly by order dated 19.02.2025 upto 31.07.2025 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 157/2025. It is stated in the petition that award has been reserved on 02.12.2024 for pronouncement. 3.

Mr. Alok Kumar Jain, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 03 months from 01.08.2025 to enable the Arbitrator to pronounce and publish the award. 6.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
