O R D E R

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking that the petitioner be allowed to surrender the firearm license of i.e. 12 Bore SBBL Shot (currently in possession of the petitioner) to the respondent, belonging to the petitioner's late husband.

It is submitted that the said firearm was originally owned by the father-in law of the petitioner and thereafter, upon demise of the father-inlaw, the ownership was transferred in the name of the late husband of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that upon the petitioner submitting an online application referring to the requisite documents including the Licence No.70154/E1/70 etc., the respondent shall accept the surrender of the said firearm. The said statement is taken on record. 4.

In view thereof, the petitioner does not press the present petition. The same is accordingly disposed of.
