The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, has been filed on behalf of the petitioner, praying as follows: "It is most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a declaration, writ, order or direction especially writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ :

fellowships namely non-NET and "NET-JRF & other fellowships", in light of the judgment and final order dated 16.05.2023 in Writ Petition (Civil) No.16713/2022 passed by this Hon‟ble Court and;

(2) Award costs in favour of the Petitioners and/or;" 4.

Issue Notice. Mr. Vasanth Rajasekaran, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent no. 1/JNU. 5.

At the outset, learned counsel for respondent No. 1/Jawahar Lal Nehru University („JNU‟) submits that the present writ petition may be directed to be treated as representation on behalf of the petitioners and the University shall decide the same in a time-bound manner. 6.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners states that he has no objection to the suggestion put forth by the learned counsel for respondent No.1/JNU.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is directed that the present petition be treated as a representation on behalf of the petitioners and the same be decided within a period of six weeks from today by respondent no. 1/JNU, under intimation to the petitioners herein. 8.

In case the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the respondent no. 1, he will be at liberty to approach this Court, in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. 10.
