Status Report has been filed today in the Court which be taken on record. According to the Status Report, the NBWs that were issued against the petitioner on account of non-surrender after availing the Furlough, could not be executed. The mother and brother of the petitioner were met but they told that he had left the home for Mandoli Jail on 07.07.2024 with a message but they subsequently came to know that he did not reach the jail and his present whereabouts are not known.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State, seeks further time for execution of the NBWs and shall also contact the surety to trace the whereabouts of the petitioner.
