This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months from 09.09.2025 to make the Arbitral Award.

Mr. Goel, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the record is voluminous and the matter is at the stage of claimant's evidence. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Joshi, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. 6.

For the said reason, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 12 months from 09.09.2025. 7.

The petition is disposed of.
