This is an application filed by the Petitioner under Order XXIII Rule 1, read with Section 151 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, seeking liberty to withdraw the present writ petition. 2.
It is stated that the reasons for the withdrawal of the petition are set out in paragraph '5' of the application.

Learned counsel appearing for Respondent No. 4 states that the rectification petition, in respect of which the relief at paragraph 12(a) of the prayer clause was sought, was never listed before the IPAB. He further submits that, in fact, the relief sought in the writ petition has become infructuous.

In view of the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is permitted to be withdrawn for the reason stated in the application, as well as taking on record the fact that the relief sought in the petition itself has become infructuous.

This application is allowed and the writ petition is disposed of. 7.
