The petitioners have filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, seeking expeditious disposal of the pending appeal under Section 21 (3) of the East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948, filed by the petitioners against order of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate dated 28.06.2003.

Mr. Manashwy Jha, learned counsel for respondent No.1, submits upon instructions that the Appellate Authority will decide the proceedings within six months from today.

In view of the above, no further directions are required in this writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of.
