% 05.08.2025 1.

Issue notice. Mr. Digvijay Rai, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent - Airports Authority of India ["AAI"]. 2.

The petitioner, who is an ex-serviceman, was employed as a Junior Assistant (Five Services) in AAI after retiring from the Indian Navy. The relief sought in this writ petition is for pay protection, as the petitioner's last drawn pay in the Indian Navy was higher than the pay he is drawing in AAI. Although an earlier representation for this purpose was rejected by a communication dated 05.09.2023, the petitioner has made further detailed representations dated 07.07.2025 and 09.07.2025. 3.

Mr. Rai submits that AAI will take a fresh look at the petitioner's W.P.(C) 11661/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 07/08/2025 at 12:48:15

representations and pass a reasoned order within eight weeks from today. In view of the fact that the rejection order dated 05.09.2023 is unreasoned, I am of the view that Mr. Rai's suggestion is reasonable. 4.

The writ petition, alongwith pending applications, is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner's representations be considered afresh by AAI, and a reasoned order be communicated to him within eight weeks from today.
