the statement made by Mr. Vishal Khanna, counsel for the Respondent, stating that the Respondent, Mr. Sanjay Sachdeva, has deceased, the present proceedings cannot continue under Section 378 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 19731 and the appeals would have to be abated under Section 394 of Cr.P.C as the instant appeal has been filed against an order of acquittal. Further, Ms. Juneja states that although the copy of the death certificate has not been placed on record, nonetheless she has independently verified from her clients that the Respondent has deceased. 2.
