Petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for quashing of FIR No.0289/2018 under Sections 498A/406 IPC registered at PS: Bawana, Delhi, in terms of Joint Settlements dated 07.01.2019 and 31.01.2019 2.

Respondent No.2 is present in person and she submits that certain amount of agreed Rs.2,25,000/- has not been paid till date. 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner points out various payments, which are only coming to Rs.1,60,000/-. It is submitted that Rs.25,000/- was paid at the time of withdrawal of DV Act Petition, though there is no documentary proof to this effect.

But, even though, if it is accepted that Rs.25,000/- was also paid, then too it becomes Rs.1,85,000/-, which is less than Rs.2,25,000/- and balance amount is remaining, as has been submitted by Respondent No.2. 5.

not been complied with by the Petitioners.
