The present petition under Sections 2(b), 2(c) (ii), 2(c) (iii) and 12 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeks the following prayers: - I. Initiating contempt proceedings against the contemnor Delhi Police punish them in accordance with law for contempt of Pati Sahu Versus Shri Ashwani Kumar and ors on 17.07.2025. II. Pass an order directing the respondents to immediately cease all harassment of the Petitioner and permit them to vend peacefully at their designated spot in front of the Metro station metro parking, beside the gate, Nehru Place, South Zone, Ward-S-86 in accordance with their vending certificates.
III. Pass an order directing the SHO, PS Kalkaji to provide protection to the Petitioner and ensure no further interference in their lawful vending activities by any authority or private entity. IV. Pass such other orders as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the Petitioner and against the contemnors."
