The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have settled their disputes. He submits that an amount of Rs.6,50,000/- in terms of the settlement has already been paid to the complainant.

The complainant is also present in person and submits that he has settled the dispute of his own free will and does not wish to pursue any proceedings in relation to his complainant under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,1881. 3.

Considering that the parties have settled the disputes and the complainant has received the settlement amount and does not wish to pursue any proceedings in relation to his complaint, the judgement dated 24.05.2022 and order sentence dated 30.05.2022 passed by learned Trial Court in complaint case No. 11268/2018 titled as Sunil Malik v. The order dated 06.09.2023 passed by the learned Appellate Court in C.A. No. 108/2022 is also consequently set aside.
