This is an application filed by the petitioner seeking early hearing of the writ petition.

The contention of the counsel for the petitioner by referring to the counter affidavit filed by the respondents, wherein the respondents have stated that the application dated December 29, 2023, filed by the petitioner along with medical documents addressed to the Director General, Border Security Force, for his posting / transfer to Delhi, NCR is under process in the Headquarters, is that the respondents be directed to decide the application and the writ petition be disposed of. 3.

We deem it appropriate to direct the respondents to decide the above application dated December 29, 2023 of the petitioner within four weeks as an outer limit and convey the decision to the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order to be passed by the respondents to his prejudice, the petitioner shall seek such remedy as available in law. The writ petition and connected applications are disposed of.

It is made clear if, in the interregnum, as and when the petitioner requires treatment, he would be properly provided leave facility for taking the treatment.
