Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aged about 80 years and submits that in case the directions are issued for expeditious conclusion of trial, he shall not press this petition. 2.

Keeping in view the age of the petitioner and also the fact that eviction petition was filed in the year 2014, Rent Controller is directed to expedite the proceedings and endeavour to conclude the same within a period of nine months from the next date of hearing before the trial court. 3.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn. 5.
