This is an application seeking early hearing of the captioned petition.

For the reasons stated in the application the same is allowed and the captioned petition is taken up for hearing. 3.

Accordingly, the application stands disposed of. CRL.M.C. 5326/20235 4.

By way of the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 706/2014 dated 08.07.2014, registered at Police Station Uttam Nagar, Delhi, for offences punishable under Sections 363 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ["IPC"], together with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

Upon inquiry as to why a petition in respect of an FIR registered in 2014 has been filed only in 2025, Mr. Paranjay Chopra, learned counsel for the petitioners, states that an earlier petition had been filed, but was subsequently withdrawn. It is noted that the present petition makes no reference to the earlier petition or the orders passed thereon. 6.

A search on the website of this Court indicates that, in respect of the same FIR, petitioner No. 1 had earlier filed a petition bearing CRL.M.C. 1510/2016 [Shakeel vs. State (NCT of Delhi) and Anr], which was disposed of by order dated 26.09.2018, as follows: "After some hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition and the applications filed therewith, reserving the contentions with reference to the version of the prosecutrix to be brought before the trial court for appropriate decision to be taken thereupon. The petition and the applications filed therewith are dismissed as withdrawn."

It is a fundamental expectation that any petition filed before this Court under its inherent powers should provide full and accurate disclosure of all material facts, including any prior proceedings in respect of the same subject matter.

At this stage, however, Mr. Chopra seeks permission to withdraw the present petition.

In view thereof, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. 10.
