This is a petition under Section 528 BNSS, 2023 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C, 1973 for quashing of FIR No. 0283/2020, registered at Police Station Kalkaji, under Section 408 IPC, as also the proceedings arising out of the same.

It has been submitted that both parties have come to an amicable settlement and in terms of the settlement dated 05.07.2025, petitioner has agreed to pay a sum of Rs. 9,00,008/- out of which Rs. 5,00,000/- has already been paid by the petitioner to respondent No. 2 by a Demand Draft dated 27.06.2025 and the remaining amount of Rs. 4,00,008/- shall be paid by the petitioner to respondent No. 2 in 12 equal installments of Rs. 33,334/- within twelve months.

appropriate to quash the proceedings at this stage on the basis of settlement between the parties.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition upon payment of last installment.
