% 16.11.2017 Subject matter involved in the present appeal has been settled between the accused (appellant) and complainant (respondent no.2) before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre on 14th March, 2017. Counsel for the respondent no.2 admits that entire settled amount stands paid. She submits that she has instructions from the respondent no.2 to convey to this Court that respondent no.2 has no objection for compounding of the offence. Accordingly, in view of the settlement arrived at before the Mediation Centre, offence under Section 135 read with Section 150 of the Electricity Act, 2003 is permitted to be compounded and appellant is acquitted.

Appeal is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
