% 08.01.2025 The court has heard Mr. Babu Lal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in support of the present bail petition at length. Counsel inter-alia argues that the petitioner has spent about 01 year and 06 months in judicial custody as an undertrial and though charges have been framed, the trial could not proceed because a co-accused in the matter is absconding.

After making some submissions, Mr. Babu Lal seeks leave to withdraw the present bail petition with liberty to file afresh after a reasonable period of time.

The petition is accordingly disposed-of as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed-for; without making any observations on the merits of the matter. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of.
