The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to the Chairman of the Lawyers Chamber Allotment Committee to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2016, as well as the reminder dated 17.01.2017 after giving an opportunity of being heard.

On 19.05.2017, this Court had noted that the newly constituted Chamber Allotment Committee had decided to review the case of the petitioner and the petitioner had been called for a hearing on 29.05.2017. 3.
It is stated that the Chamber Allotment Committee has since decided the petitioner's representation by an order dated 08.06.2017. The said order is neither on record nor has the petitioner taken any steps for impugning the said order.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the prayers made by the petitioner that directions be issued for consideration of his representation, no longer survives.
5.
The petition and the pending applications are, accordingly, disposed of.
