% 16.08.2017 Matter has been taken up today as 14th August, 2017 was declared holiday.

It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 300/2016 under Sections 323/341/354/354B/509/34 IPC registered at police station Jaitpur on the complaint of respondent no.2 may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are relatives of petitioner no.1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Arvind, P.S. Jaitpur. Respondent no.2

admits having settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She submits that in terms of settlement dated 21st July, 2016, out of total settled amount of `2,50,000/-, she has already received `60,000/-. Petitioner no.1 has paid the balance amount of `1,90,000/- to respondent no.2 in Court today. Respondent no.2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the present FIR any further and has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no. 1 and respondent no.2, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 300/2016 under Sections 323/341/354/354B/509/34 IPC registered at police station Jaitpur, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
