The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ of certiorari, quashing the deletion of the Petitioner's name from second revised list dated: 23.08.2024, of provisionally eligible candidates under CW category for admission to UG medical courses (MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS) 2024-2025 Under 85% Delhi quota; AND (ii) Consequently issue a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent authorities to consider the Petitioner's candidature The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

as per the her eligibility by applying reservation for armed forces (CW) as per Priority - V (VIII) of the bulletin; AND (iii) Pass such further and other orders as the court may deem fit in the circumstances of the present case may require." 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent No.4 submitted that the name of the petitioner has been received by the University of Delhi and included in the counselling list in the CW category as per Priority - V (VIII). It is submitted that since the last date of admissions is of today i.e. 29th August, 2024, thus, the name of the petitioner may be considered in the next round of counselling for the admission.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner placed before this Court the notice dated 28th August, 2024, by which the date of admission for Round-1 of UG Counselling has been extended upto 31st August, 2024 till 5.00 P.M.

Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties and perused the record as well as the notice dated 28th August, 2024. 5.

Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to allow the prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. Accordingly, the respondent No.4 is directed to give admission to the petitioner subject to the availability of seats in the first round of UG counselling list in the CW category as per Priority - V (VIII). If the seats are not available in the first round, the name of the petitioner shall be considered in the second round of UG counselling. Also, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent No.4 is directed to communicate the concerned authority about this order, for compliance.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant petition alongwith pending application stands disposed of.
