This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of two months w.e.f. 15.07.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to continued alleged unauthorized use and occupation of the subject premises by HCL pertaining to Lease Deed dated 16.05.2017, Petitioner filed a petition in this Court under Section 9 of 1996 Act being O.M.P.(I) (COMM.) 106/2022 wherein vide order dated 12.05.2022, Court appointed the Arbitrator and O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 613/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. parties were referred for arbitration. Mandate of the Arbitrator was initially extended by six months with the consent of the parties and thereafter by this Court vide order dated 18.10.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 832/2024 upto 15.07.2025. It is stated in the petition that parties have amicably resolved and settled their inter se disputes and only a consent award has to be passed.

Issue notice.

Ms. Jayashree Parihar, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 2 months from 08.08.2025 and the period between 16.07.2025 to 07.08.2025 is regularized.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
