The present application has been filed by the petitioners seeking directions to respondent no.1-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), to proceed with the proposal dated 30th September, 2024, and take it to its logical end.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has drawn the attention of this Court to the order dated 3rd October, 2024, passed in the present petition, which reads as under:
"1. During the course of hearing, a letter/proposal dated 30.09.2024 sent by the petitioners to the Executive Engineer- BLDG, City SP Zone, Delhi was handed over and the same has been placed before the Court for consideration. Let the same be also placed in the digital record of the Court.

2. On perusal of the aforesaid proposal and without treating the same to be a precedent for further cases, the Court finds that under the peculiar circumstances of the instant case, the respondentCorporation be directed to proceed with the said proposal and to take it to its logical end with due expedition.
3. Needless to state that the petitioners shall not violate any of the extant rules, regulations, Bye-laws or Master Plan of Delhi-2021.
4. Besides, the undertaking by the petitioners in the said proposal, the Court also directs the petitioners to indemnify the respondentCorporation for any claim/objection by any owner/landlord or tenant etc.
5. With the aforesaid directions, nothing more is required to be adjudicated in the instant petitions.
6. Accordingly, the instant petitions are disposed of alongwith the pending applications."

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been visiting the office of the MCD frequently to verify the status of their proposal. However, even after waiting for a considerable period of time, the MCD has failed to take the proposal to its logical conclusion.

Thus, the present application has been filed. 5.
Issue notice. Notice is accepted by learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1-MCD.

Let reply be filed by the respondent no. 1-MCD within a period of six weeks.
7.
Rejoinder thereto, if any, be filed within a period of two weeks, thereafter.

Re-notify on 22nd August, 2025.
