By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayer:
"Issue an appropriate Writ/Order thereby directing the Trial Court of Ld. ASJ-02, North District, Rohini Courts, Delhi to expedite and conclude the trial of the present case registered through FIR No.433/2021 registered u/s 302/323/341/506/34 IPC at P.S.: Model Town in a fixed time frame on day to day basis, in the interest of Justice" 2.

Trial Court, six adjournments were sought on account of the requests made by the learned counsel for the petitioner herein. 4.
The relevant order-sheets of the Trial Court Record have also been filed by the learned counsel for the complaint before this Court. The Trial Court Record supports the claim of the learned counsel for the complainant that on many dates, adjournments had been sought by the learned counsel for the accused, however, the witnesses were present at that time and could not been cross-examined. This Court also takes note of the fact that the learned Trial Court is giving short dates and the witnesses are being examined on the dates they are present, and the learned Trial Court has also passed orders taking coercive action against the witnesses who absent themselves despite service.
5.
Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the present cast, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the learned Trial Court to expeditiously record the evidence of witnesses and try to conclude the trial within a reasonable period of time, subject to the condition that both the parties before the learned Trial Court will not seek any unnecessary adjournments.
6.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. 7.
In the meantime, the petitioner will be at liberty to again approach this Court in case the trial is not expeditiously concluded. 8.
The order be uploaded on the website forthwith. DR. SWARANA KANTA SHARMA, J SEPTEMBER 01, 2025/vc The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 02/09/2025 at 12:44:47
