The matter is taken up today, as 25.11.2025 was declared as Holiday on the occasion of 350th anniversary of 'Guru Teg Bahadur's Martyrdom Day'. 2.
Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners, for quashing of FIR No.0486/2024 under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 126(2), 3(5) of BNS, registered at PS: Farsh Bazar, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, in terms of Settlement Deed dated 05.08.2025. 3.

As per FIR, Complainant / Respondent No.3 was going on his scooty, he was stopped by two boys, whose faces were wearing mask, one of the boy stopped the Complainant and removed his helmet and the other boy hit him on his left cheek with some sharp edged weapon, which resulted in injuries on his face, which are opined to be simple in nature. 5.

Petitioner No.1 is maternal uncle of Complainant / Respondent No.3 and because of some misunderstanding, Petitioners got implicated. 7.
It is further submitted that on 12.09.2024, on Complaint of Respondent No. 2, FIR No.0486/2024 under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 126(2), 3(5) of BNS was registered at PS: Farsh Bazar, Delhi.

It is submitted that present FIR was a consequence of the misunderstanding between the Petitioners and Respondent No.3. It is stated that with the intervention of family members, relatives and well wishers, the Petitioners and Respondent No.3 have amicably settled all the disputes and differences between them vide Settlement Deed dated 05.08.2025. 9.
The parties are present in the Court and have been identified by the IO. The parties submit that they have arrived at the settlement without any force, coercion and undue influence and pressure and they have signed the Settlement Deed dated 05.08.2025 with their wish and will. 10.
Learned Counsel for Petitioners submits that the parties have no grievance against each other. Since Respondent No.3 has already made a statement before the Court that he does not want to pursue the proceedings in FIR, the present Petition be allowed and FIR No.0486/2024 be quashed. 11.
In view of Settlement Deed dated 05.08.2025, present Petition has been filed.

Respondent No.3 is present and submits that he has no grievance against the Petitioners and also no objection to the quashing of FIR. 13.
In view of the fact that the FIR in question was premised upon a misunderstanding between the Petitioners and Respondent No.3, which has been amicably resolved in terms of Settlement Deed dated 05.08.2025. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
Considering the fact that Respondent No.3 has also given no objection to the quashing of FIR, no fruitful purpose would be served in continuing with the proceedings arising out of the FIR.

Consequently, FIR No.0486/2024 under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 126(2), 3(5) of BNS, registered at PS: Farsh Bazar, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. 15.
