O R D E R

% 11.03.2019 This petition seeks initiation of contempt proceedings for an alleged contempt of this Court‟s order dated 24.08.2016 in W.P.(C) 7503/2016. As per the said order, the list maintained by the Railways was to be furnished to the petitioner within the course of that week. However, the Court on 06.04.2018, inter alia, had recorded as under: "CM Nos. 6571/2018 (under Section 151 CPC by the respondent/applicant praying for recall/modify the order dated 24.08.2016 passed in W.P. (C) No. 7503/2016) & 7188/2018 (under Section 151 CPC, 1908 on behalf of respondents/applicants for recall and modification of the order dated 24.08.2016 passed by this Court) Mr. Neeraj Kumar, the Director Establishment (N) II and L.O. on OBCs is present in Court and has handed over to learned counsel for the petitioners, a compilation of letters received from Zonal Railway

Offices in reference to Railway Board's Letter No. 2016-E (SCT) I/71/1 dated 30th September, 2016. It is observed that the said letter dated 30th September, 2016 was addressed to Sh. Jagjit Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Railways by the said Mr. Neeraj Kumar, apprising the former that necessary information in pursuance to the order of this Court dated 24th August, 2016 was being collated and further stating that upon receipt of complete information, the same would be furnished to the petitioners. Mr. Neeraj Kumar states that no further information in this behalf is available with his Office.

It has also been pointed out by Mr. Joydeep Mazumdar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Railways that none of the subject associations are affiliated with the Railways in any manner. The Statement is taken on record.

In view of the foregoing, this Court is satisfied that the directions contained in the order dated 24th August, 2016 have been complied with.

With the above observation, all pending applications are disposed of."

The Court itself was satisfied that the directions contained in the order of 24.08.2016 have been complied with.

In view of the above, no case is made out for contempt proceedings. The petition is dismissed.
