Ms. 'A' has been produced from Nirmal Chhaya, Hari Nagar and submits that she is not willing to accompany her parents, and she wants to move on her own. The learned counsel for the parents of Ms. 'A' disputes the said submission.

The learned Standing Counsel submits that being an adult Ms. 'A' is free to express her desire to go anywhere as per her will. 3.

It is undisputed that Ms. 'A' is 191⁄2 years old and her date of birth as per her school certificate is 05.12.2005. On the last date of hearing i.e. 28.08.2025, Ms. 'A' was produced before this Court by her parents from her native village. Upon being queried, she has stated that she wished to reside with her husband/petitioner and that her parents had not approved of their marriage. She had further expressed that she did not wish to meet or stay with them. On her request, she was directed to be kept at Nirmal Chhaya, Hari Nagar, so as to afford her an opportunity to re-think her decision.

Today, upon being produced before this Court, Ms. 'A' has reiterated and specifically submitted that she does not wish to accompany her parents.

Being an adult, Ms. 'A' is entitled to her own liberty and autonomy, which cannot be curtailed. However, she submits that she requires protection as she apprehend threats from her parents. 7.

In view of the same, the SHO of the concerned Police Station is directed to grant adequate Police protection to her, within whose jurisdiction Ms. 'A' chooses to reside in Delhi. 8.

With the above observations, the present petition stands disposed of.
