The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.38/2019 registered under Sections 323/325/452/506/34 IPC at P.S. Timarpur, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the petitioners beat respondent No.2 and his two friends/acquaintances with sticks and baseball bats.

Learned APP for the State submits that in the present case the petitioners are the only accused persons and besides respondent No.2 there are two other complainants/victims/injured namely, Rinku Dagar and Gulshan Kumar.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the parties have entered into a settlement vide Mediation Settlement dated 12.09.2022 whereafter the statement of the complainant as well as two other injured The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. namely, Rinku Dagar and Gulshan Kumar came to be recorded before the learned MM-02, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. A copy of the same has also been placed on record. The petition is also accompanied by the requisite affidavit of the complainant who had appeared on the last date of hearing. The Investigating Officer states that he has verified from all the complainant/injured that they have settled the dispute and have also given their no objection for the quashing of the FIR. In terms of the settlement, respondent No.2/complainants/victims/injured are now left with no claim whatsoever against the present petitioners.

The petitioners, who are present in the Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as by the Investigating Officer. 6.

The petitioners have shown remorse for their conducts and they undertake not to repeat the same in future.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that no other proceedings are pending between the parties.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed 10.
