This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal for a period of 1 year.

It is stated that the parties are in the process of final arguments but the matter is voluminous.

Mr. Mishra, learned counsel for the respondent, has no objection with the petition being allowed.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay.
